Secret santa

I went up and picked my secret Santa present . It was fun unwrapping it and seeing what was inside. I got chocolates....yummy I do t know if I will share them yet!

Christmas Party

I had so much fun at our end of year Christmas party. Laughing with my friends, eating yummy food and watching some awesome entertainment. 

Christmas Drama Show

My friends came to watch us preform on stage for the end of year drama Christmas show.

Let’s Move

I was very involved with our group games in Let’s Move today. I had so much fun!

Cinderella Operatunity Show

 I was lucky enough to go with my friends to watch the Cinderella Operatunity show. What a funny shorty line it had, I laughed and laughed.

Enjoying Nature

The sun is out so I have my sun hat on and I have borrowed my friends sunglasses. I really enjoy sitting outside in our centre garden and listening to the birds and looking at the flowers.

A treat for my Feet

I loved my mirimiri foot massage. I relaxed and enjoyed the feel of it and the smell of the cocoa butter and coconut. As an extra treat I had my toenails painted a bright purple colour.

Pamper day

I enjoyed the Wilrose pamper day. I got a hand massage and my nails painted. I enjoyed listening to the relaxation music. It was a great day.

Drama

I'm enjoying drama, practicing my singing and lines for our production 'the grinch'!

Planet eart sensory

I chilled out to watch a video with arctic animals, I liked the relaxing music and this soft penguin.

Hat making

For our Christmas party this year our theme is ‘Hats’. We are all going to design and make our own Christmas hats. I chose my hat shape and the colours I liked and the decorations for my hat. 

Getting around

Check me out getting out and about this week I went to the strand and enjoyed the sea air with my friends 

Outings

I have been enjoying my outings going to the parks for our outings and I'm loving the sunshine as well.

Shiny shakers

I love these shiny shakers. I love shaking them to the beat in music. I helped repair the wall holder where we hang them up too. Yeah! Shake,  shake, shake! 

Special lunch

I enjoyed trying a traditional Samoan dish called chop suey. It had lots of flavour and was good to have for my lunch. 

Playing the guitar

Today for music I really enjoyed playing the guitar. I also liked tapping to the rhythm of the music, especially while listening to Queen.

Head massage

What a lovely Miri Miri session. I had a foot massage and a head massage too! Ahhhhhh bliss!

Circus fun

We had an awesome day today. All the three Centres got together and Circus in a Flash visited. We learned to do some cool stuff, check me out.

Music and friends

I made a new friend in sensory, we sat together and bounced up and down to the music, it was just awesome fun.

The pacific islands

Cultural studies group are studying the pacific islands and I decided to check it out for a bit. They had flower necklaces called “Leis” which are really colourful and caught my eye so I got to try one on. I thought it was pretty cool, and I reckon it suits me too! Might try the hula next!

Pom Pom fun

I love shaking these shiny Pom poms in music to the beat. My friend Michael joined me too and we had such fun! 

Highland games

Yesterday we hosted a Highland games and friends from Greerton and Te puke came to join in with us and do sports like egg and spoon race, volleyball, bowling, and targets. Check out my certificate!

Digging for bugs!

Check out what I helped make! I hid a whole heap of plastic bugs in a big container of kinetic sand and my friend Sophie went digging in it to find them all. I had fun getting the bugs and putting them in the container ready for hiding. It was super funny watching the others dig them back out I was laughing out loud and gave a big applause when all the bugs were found!

Sensory / Mirimiri

What a lovely hour of relaxation. I had a super relaxing foot massage with some moisturiser and we had some gentle music and a pretend aquarium on the tv with colourful fish swimming around. We had a roaring fire in the tv too! 

Bowling

I enjoyed some indoor bowling today - I was pretty good at it too! Must be all the practice I get with Mum!

Music and dance

I shook a mean booty to some Cultural music today, I bounced up and down and clapped along heaps, I even sang along to the tunes.

Te Puna Quarry

How cool is this, went to the Te Puna Quarry, it was a beautiful day and I got lots of sun and fresh air. Also, I got to hang out with my friends.
