Christmas Drama Show

 I played the Mayor’s wife in our Christmas drama show ~ How the grinch stole Christmas. I very confidently acted on stage and sung along to the beat of every Christmas song. 

Anzac park

 It was nice sitting under the tree at Anzac park and being in the fresh air with my friends. There was lots to hear, the guitar, birds chirping, wind blowing, and people laughing, talking and singing! 

Thanksgiving

 We celebrated Thanksgiving at  Wilrose this year and made turkey headbands! I loved wearing the headbands, they looked so cool

Reading

 I enjoyed looking at a few different books in planet earth sensory while listening to Italian and French music. It was very relaxing. 

Blogs

 I enjoyed being helpful doing some of the blogs this week. Writing what everyone has been up to this week and adding their pictures on the I-pad. After we had finished we would tick off their name on the list! 

Drama time!

I had a lot of fun at drama today! We were rehearsing for the Christmas play which I’m really looking forward to

Halloween disco

 I liked listening to the music on our Halloween disco day and seeing everyone dressed up. I enjoyed eating the yummy hangi lunch. My favourite was the fried bread! 

Favourite spot in the garden

 I love this shady spot in the garden at Wilrose centre. I can hear the birds chirping and smell the flowers.

Back Onstage

I was very happy to be back onstage at drama. We are putting together a Christmas show. I liked the songs we have lined up. 

Tauranga Rose Gardens

 I had a lovely morning out with my friends exploring the Tauranga Rose Gardens. 

The strand waterfront

I enjoyed watching the children play on the inflatable waterworld at the strand waterfront. I also liked seeing the train go past. 

Magic colour art

 It was fun doing some magic colour at in Twinkl this week. I helped to drop the picture into the water and when I got wet, beautiful colours appeared in the picture. 

Sensory

 I love the sensory room - there is always something different to see, hear, smell or feel. I enjoyed wearing this soft and colourful feather boa. 

Art

 We all drew around our own hands ( someone helped me to draw around mine - it was hard to keep my fingers still) and then we coloured them in and they were cut out to go on a group art piece around the theme “Many hands make light work”

Assistance Dogs Visit

 We had a lady visit us with her beautiful assistance dogs. There were seven of them and they were so fluffy. They were so interesting to look at roaming around the centre.
