I really enjoyed making farm animals from modelling clay in my tactile session 

Singing

I really enjoyed Maori Culture this week. We had a good old fashioned sing-a-long and even sang some Christmas Songs in Te Reo Maori!

Omokoroa Picnic

What a lovely time I had at Omokoroa, enjoying a picnic at the beautiful domain there with my friends!

Summer Garden Party

I had my face painted for our garden party. It looked awesome

New hat!

Community/sports outings

We had a great time at the memorial park this week with my friends.

Painting time

Here I am showing off my painting skills and helping paint the background of some new signs for Arohanui the craft class are working on. I had heaps of fun, I like painting!

Wilrose Garden

I really enjoy sitting in the Wilrose garden enjoying the sunshine and flowers.

Brain Games

We learnt 20 questions about dogs and spoons in one of our brain games.

Music and singing

Playing the ukulele and singing with my friends, such fun.

Marshalls Animal Farm

What a lovely day at the animal farm. We fed the deer, sheep, horses and pigs and enjoyed a lovely walk and picnic lunch. 

Maori culture.

I'm having so much fun showing off my guitar skills to my friends at Wilrose.

Blind week

We helped to collect donations for Blind week. I enjoyed the experience.

Garden

When the rain stopped we managed to get out into the garden at Wilrose and do a bit of weeding and tidying up. It was so lovely to sit in the sunshine!

Ukulele

I had fun strumming on the Ukelele to Tom Jones' song Ten Guitars! 

Drama Show

I really enjoyed going to watch the drama show! There were lots of songs to groove along to and I liked to see my friends acting as pirates! Oh wow!

Sewing/craft

I have been making a fabric collage. It is looking fantastic.

Art.

I am being very creative with my sketching.

Disco

I dressed up in a lovely denim skirt for our Culture Disco. 

Merivale community garden

I really enjoyed my outing to water the plants at the Merivale community garden.

Sand fun in tactile

In tactile today we focused on sand. We filled a balloon up with sand and made a stress ball. I really liked squeezing it and the way it felt in my hand.

Blog

I have been helping to do my blog and also joined the staff meeting this week. 

Art/craft

I am painting a flower pot in art and we are going to make flowers to put in it.

Display House

We had an outing to the Tropical Display house and had a walk around the rose garden.

Greerton library

The new Greerton library is fantastic. We enjoyed looking at all the new books and magazines.

Cleaning up

I was a great help wiping the tables after lunch

Drama production

We had a great time watching the Sound of Music drama production

UNO

This morning I joined in with a game of Uno. It was heaps of fun.
